AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1162,
DATED MARCH 1, 1984, AUTHORIZING ALL PUBLIC
SCHOOLS IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS, A REDUCTION ON DUMPSTER RATES,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1162, dated March 1, 1984,
is amended as follows:
"All Public Schools in the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, shall have dumpster rates as follows:
Pickups per week 4 yard dumpster 6 yard dumpster
One (1) $10.00 $12.50
Two (2) $17.50 $20.00
Three (3) $27.50 $30.00
Four (4) $40.00 $45.00
Five (5) $50.00 $55.00
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Emergency Clause. It having been found and
determined by the City Council of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, that the Public Schools in our City stand to lose
considerable money as a result of cutbacks by the State,
a:~ emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance
being necessary for the public peace, health, welfare and
safety of the Citizens of West Memphis, Arkansas, shall
become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
