AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE MINIMUM MONTHLY RATE
FOR EIGHT INCH WATER METERS IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Ordinance 2102 established the rates for water service and
meters up to a size of six inches in the City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Utility Commission has found that there may be
occasions to have eight inch water meters installed and that a monthly rate for such meters
should be established; and
WHEREAS, the West Memphis Utility Commission has approved and recommended to
the West Memphis City Council that the rate for eight inch(8") water meters be established at
$128.19 per month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The minimum rate for eight inch(8") water meters charged by the West
Memphis Utility Commission is hereby established at $128.19 per month.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
