AVALON); AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
~?~:EREAS, application was made to the City Planning
Commission to rezone the hereinafter described property
Lot 39 - R-1 Single Family Residential to I-2 General
Industrial and Lot 40 - R-1 Single Family Residential
to R-4 Medium Density Residential District, and after
notice having been published for the time and in the manner
as provided by Ordinance No, 1255, the matter was heard by
the City Planning Commission, and the Planning Commission
recommended that said property be rezoned Lot 39 - I-2 Gen-
eral Industrial and Lot 40 - R-4 Medium Density Residential
Districts, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~?F.. CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:

SECTION I: That the following described property, to
Lot 39 - Hulbert Subdivision Bond Survey of
Irregular Lots; Common address: 600-700 Rainer
Road.
Lot 40 - ?-?ulbert Subdivision Bond Survey of
Irregular Lots; Common address: 1500 South
Avalon,
be, and the same is hereby, rezoned Lot 39 - I-2 General
Industrial District and Lot 40 - P~-4 Medium Density Resi-
dential District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: It is found and determined by the City
Council of the City of West Plemphis, Arkansas, that this
property is in the process of further development and the
immediate passage of. this ordinance is necessary for the
further development of said property; the passage hereof is
necessary for the g_,rowth and expansion of G?est Memphis, Ark-
ansas, and that the passage hereof is in the interest of the
public health, peace, safety and welfare of the City of West
s
Memphis and the inhabitants thereof. Therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to correct an error that exist and this
ordinance sha11 take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage and approval.
