AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 1288, PROVIDING
FOR THE PREPARATION OF GARBAGE FOR COLLECTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 7 of Ordinance 1288, codified as Section 8.04.070 of the West Memphis
Municipal Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
PREPARATION FOR COLLECTION
All garbage shall be drained of liquids and put in garbage bags before being placed in garbage
containers for pick-up.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
