1322/ K ORDINANCE NO. /.30~ ~. AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 1014, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 1172, DECLARING AN AMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST L MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1014 as amended by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1172 is hereby amended to read as follows: The charges for the ambulance service operated by the West Memphis Fire Department will be as follows: ~. a. Emergency transport within the City of West Memphis to Crittenden Memorial Hospital b. Emergency transport to a hospital other than Crittenden Memorial Hospital c. Emergency transport from a location outside the City of West Memphis d. First Aid Supplies e. Oxygen f. OB Services g. Cardiac Arrest $175.00 $175.00 plus 1.50 per mile $175.00 plus 1.50 per mile 15.00 20.00 25.00 50.00 SECTION 2. EMERGENCY CLAUSE. It being found and determined by the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that there is an urgent need to change the fee structures to appropriately reflect the cost of emergency transportation, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and approval.
