AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND IN THE NE 1/4 OF THE PdE 1/4 OF SECTION'
16 AP1D THAT PART OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION g IN TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH,
RANGER 9, EAST AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the Plannin Commission for rezoning lands
as provided by Ordinance No. 1033 of the city of West Memphis, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, notice was duly published that a hearing would be held by the Planning
Comrission and calling upon interested persons to appear at such hearing and
make known their objections, if any, in connection with said petition for re-
zoning of the property hereinafter described; and

WHEREAS, at the meeting held by the Planning Commission or. Jur,e 30, 1882 , no
persons appeared to cffer a protest against the rezoning of said property and
Planning Corrsr.ission recommends to the City Council that said petition be gran
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST .MEt~4PHIS, ARKAPISAS:
SECTION I: That the following described prcperty located in the city of
West Mer,,phis, Arkansas, to wit:

That part of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 16, and that
part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 9 in Township 6
North, Range~.~ 9 East described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4
of Section 16, run thence south along the west line of the NE 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of said Section 16, a distance of 340 feet to an iron
pipe; thence east 489.4 feet to an iron pipe; thence north 340 feet
to the north line of Section 16; tr,ence west 489.4 feet to the
point of beginning; AP1D a strip of land lying between the tract
above described and the south line of the U.S. Highway No. 70 being
a part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 6 North,
Range 9 East.

SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
