AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION FIVE (5) OF
ORDINANCE N0. 1045, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. Section V. of Ordinance No. 1045
is amended as follows:
"SECTION V. Every person or corporation dealing in
second hand or used scrap jewelry, precious metals,
or gems, or any item described in SECTION I of this
Ordinance shall keep a log in duplicate of sales
and/or purchases made each day. The Seller and
the Purchaser shall sign the log below the
description of each transaction and shall deliver
to the Chief of Police, City of West Memphis, the
log concerning each day's transactions by noon of
the day following the date of said transactions.
Such log shall at all times be open for inspection
by the Chief of Police."
SECTION II. All Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
