1121-. y r y r ~ ~ ~ , ~ s~j ORDINANCE NO . --~=~-~i~ A.24 CRDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE ANNEXATION OF A 96.0 ACRE TRACT LYING IN THE W 1/2 SE l/4 AND THE SOUTH 632 FEET OF THE W 1/2 NE 1/4 OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 6 DIORTH, RANGE 8 EAST, TO THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, petition was filed in the County Court of Crittenden County, Arkansas, seeking to annex the hereinafter described property to the city of West Memphis, and after notice having been published for the time and in the manner ~,,,, as provided by law and the matter heard by the County Court, said Court ordered that the petition for annexation be granted and the her~vinafter described property be annexed to the city of West :~If;mphis; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS: SECTION I: That the following described property located in the County of Crittenden, Arkansas, to wit: A tract lying in the W 1/2 SE 1/4 of Section 23 and the south 632 feet of the W 1/2 NE 1/4 of Section 24 (also being a fractional part of Lots 4 & 9 of Bond's Survey of irregular lots as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 106, in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk & Ex-Officio Recorder of Crittenden County, Arkansas ) Township 6 North, Range 8 East, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the center of said Section 2`4, said point --, being on the existing city limits, thence north along the west line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 24, also the existing city limits line a distance of 632 feet, more or less, thence east along the existing city limits line a distance of 1255 feet more or less to its inter- section with the east line of the W 1/2 P1E 1/4 of Section 24, thence south along said east line a distance of 632 feet, more or less, to the NE corner of the W 1/2 SE 1/4 of said Section 24, thence continue south along the east line of the W 1/2 SE 1/4 of Section 24 a distance of 2640 feet to the southeast corner of the W 1/2 SE 1/4 of Section 24, thence west along the south line of Section 24 a distance of 1310.8 feet to the south 1/4 corner of ,Section 24, thence north along the west line of the SE 1/4 of Section 24 a distance of 2640.0 feet to the point of beginning containing 96.0 acres, more or less; be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council as being annexed to the city of West Memphis.
