AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE ALDERMEN AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY
COUNCIL TO PURCHASE SERVICES FROM FRANK MARTIN DOING BUSINESS
AS DELTA OFFICE SUPPLY, INC., AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,A.C.A. § 14-42-107 states that in order for Aldermen, Members of the City
Council or any elected official to conduct business with the City, that it is necessary that an Ordinance
be passed by the Governing Body, specifically, permitting Aldermen, Members of the City Council or
any elected official to conduct business with the City and prescribing the extent of such authority; and
WHEREAS, Frank Martin is the elected City Treasurer and the owner of Delta Office Supply,
Inc., and the City of West Memphis from time to time is in need of purchasing office supply products
from Delta Office Supply, Inc.;
THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That authorization be given for the City of West Memphis, Arkansas to be
furnished services by Frank Martin doing business as Delta Office Supply, Inc.
