AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9783 US HWY 70 W,ALLOWING AN ANIMAL
BOARDING AND RETAIL FACILITY IN A C-2-E, COMMERCIAL EXTRA-
TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission, on
February 25, 2015 for a Special Use Permit to allow an Animal Boarding and Retail
Facility in a C-2-E, Commercial Extra-Territorial Zoning Jurisdiction Boundary of the
City of West Memphis as required by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance No. 1988, as amended,the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 and the Planning Commission
recommended a Special Use Permit be granted to allow an Animal Boarding and Retail
Facility in a C-2-E, Extra-Territorial Zoning Jurisdiction Boundary of the City of West
Memphis, with the following criteria:
1. Planning Department approval of animal waste disposal method prior to
final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The following described property, to wit:
Address: 9783 U S Hwy 70 W
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing an Animal
Boarding and Retail Facility in a C-2-E, Extra-Territorial Zoning Jurisdiction Boundary
of the City of West Memphis, with the following criteria:
1. Planning Department approval of animal waste disposal method prior to
final inspection and Certificate of Occupancy.
SECTION 11: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
ADOPTED THIS 5-41‘ DAY OF 4(1) , 2015.
