AN ORDINANCE TO tiVAIVE COb?PETITIVE BIDDING,
ESTABLISTIING AN EbIERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
-, ~VHEREAS, Arkansas Statute 19-4425 allows waiving of
competitive bidding in exceptional situations where such
procedure is deemed not feasible or practical; and,
WIIEREAS, there are many items necessary for the City's
use where competitive bidding is deemed not feasible or
practical;
NOSV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST ME%1PHIS, ARKANSAS:
1. That competitive bidding be waived for the following
item (s) to be used by the City, described as follows:
(1) - AHPF~~LT ROLLER - Used with ?~Tew Warranty.- •$18,000.00 a!'i ~E1.S
2. Emer;ency Clause. It having been found and determined
by the City Council of the City of Kest Memphis, Arkansas, that .
tl;ore is an urgent need by the City of tYest Memphis for the item (s)
described above, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this Ordinance.being necessary for the preservation of the.
public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Citizens of
