AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,LOCATED AT 401 S. RHODES,FROM 0-1,
OFFICE,TO R-4, MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS,application was made to the City Planning Commission and upon
due notice and publication,pursuant to zoning regulations adopted by Zoning Ordinance
1988, as amended, a public hearing was held on Wednesday,July 29, 2015 and the
Planning Commission has approved and recommended the application be approved to
rezone the following described property from 0-1, Office,to R-4, Medium Density
Residential:
Common Address: 401 S.Rhodes
Legal Description: That part of the NE 1/4 of Section 13,Township 6 N,R 8 E, City
of West Memphis,Crittenden County,Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast
corner of Block 9 of Eugene Woods Subdivision, West
Memphis,Arkansas,as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 1
at page 185 in the clerk's office of Crittenden County,
Arkansas,thence S00*00'00"E along the west right of way line
of Rhodes Street 160.00 feet; thence N88*41'00" E 25.01 feet;
thence S00800'00"E 88.40 feet; thence N75*23'00"W 192.18
feet; thence N00*00'00"E 195.63 feet to a point on the south
line of said Block 9; thence N88.41'00"E a distance of 161.00
feet to the Point of Beginning,Containing 0.86 Acres more or
less.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis approved said
petition and recommends that said rezoning be granted.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following property now Zoned 0-1, Office,be and the
same, is hereby Zoned R-4,Medium Density Residential:
Common Address: 401 S.Rhodes
