A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FROM OFFICE,TO MULTI-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 401 S.
RHODES,IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN
COUNTY,ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis Planning Commission held a public
hearing on Wednesday,July 29, 2015 and considered and recommended a change in the
West Memphis Comprehensive Plan from Office to Multi-Family Residential, for certain
property located at 401 S. Rhodes, in the City of West Memphis, Crittenden County,
Arkansas and the City Council finds the recommended change in the Comprehensive
Plan should be granted, of the following described property as follows:
Common Address: 401 S. Rhodes
Legal Address: That part of the NE V4 of Section 13,Township 6 N,R 8 E,City
of West Memphis, Crittenden County,Arkansas,being more
particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast
corner of Block 9 of Eugene Woods Subdivision,West
Memphis,Arkansas,as shown by plat recorded in Plat Book 1
at page 185 in the clerk's office of Crittenden County,
Arkansas,thence S00*00'00"E along the west right of way line
of Rhodes Street 160.00 feet; thence N88*41'00"E 25.01 feet;
thence S00800'00"E 88.40 feet; thence N75*23'00"W 192.18
feet; thence N00*00'00"E 195.63 feet to a point on the south
line of said Block 9; thence N88.41'00"E a distance of 161.00
feet to the Point of Beginning,Containing 0.86 Acres more or
less.
And the City Council finds that the recommended change in the Comprehensive Plan
should be granted.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The West Memphis Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended from
Office,to Multi-Family Residential, of the following described property in the City of
West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas:
Common Address: 401 S. Rhodes
