AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE
THE EAST 150 FEET OF A LOT LYING IN
THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 18,
TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST, OF
THE GEORGE T. KENDAL SUBDIVISION IN

THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commis-
sion to rezone the hereinafter described property and after No-
tice having been published for the time and in the manner provi-
ded by Ordinance Number 1033 the matter was heard by the City
Planning Commission and with no persons appearing to protest the
same the Planning Commission recommended that said application
be granted: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEM-
PHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 64,
of the George T. Kendal Subdivision to the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas, as shown by plat of record in
Plat Book 1 at pages 194 and 195 of the records of the
Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of Crittenden
County, Arkansas; thence West along the South Line of
Jefferson Avenue 150 feet to a point; thence South
parallel to the East line of said Block 64 of the
George T. Kendal Subdivision to the North right-of-way
line of the Chicago-Rock Island & Pacific Railroad;
thence in an Easterly direction along the North right-
of-way line of said railroad to the Southwest corner
of Lot 12 of said Block 64 of the George T. Kendal
Subdivision; thence North parallel to the East line
of said Block 64 to the point of beginning,
be and the same hereby is rezoned to M-2, Intensive Industrial.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
