ORDINANCE N0.
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 729, PLUMBING CODE, AS
AMENDED, AMENDING THE PENALTY CLAUSE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 729, Plumbing Code, as amended,
is further amended as follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person,
corporation, partnership, firm, association,
or other entity to violate any provision
of Ordinance No. 729, as amended, which
adopted the Arkansas State Plumbing Code,
and upon conviction thereof, a fine of
a minimum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)
and not more than One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00) for any specified offense or
violation of said Ordinance No. 729, as amended,
may be assessed. If a thing prohibited or
rendered unlawful is, in its nature
continuous in its respect to time, the fine
or penalty for allowing the continuance
thereof, in violation of this Ordinance
shall not exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
for each day that the same may be unlawfully,
continued. Violation is a Class "A" Misdemeanor.
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances in
