AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE Np. 967.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That Ordinance No. 967 passed and approved on
the 19th day of April, 1979, vetoed by the Mayor and by a vote
of the City Council on May 3, 1979, repassed over the veto of
the Mayor, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances

in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is hereby ascertained
and declared to be a fact that the passage and approval of this
ordinance is in the interest of the public peace, health, safety
and welfare of the citizens of West Memphis; therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
