AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION TEN (10) OF ORDINANCE N0. 180,
DATED, APRIL 18, 1950, PERTAINING TO WEEKLY GARBAGE PICK-UPS,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section Ten (10) of Ordinance No. 180, dated,
April 18, 1950, is amended as follows:
"SECTION 10 - TIME OF COLLECTION. Garbage shall
be collected from private residences by the
Garbage Department at least once a week; and, it
is hereby made the duty of the occupants of
every dwelling in the City of West Memphis to
have garbage on their premises properly placed
in approved containers and available for collection
by the Garbage Department.
Garbage shall be collected from business and
commercial dumpsters as deemed necessary."
SECTION 2. All Ordinances or Parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
