AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM R-4,MULTI-FAMILY,TO C-1,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,CRITTENDEN COUNTY,ARKANSAS,
LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 420 SOUTH AVALON,WEST
MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS,application was made to the City Planning Commission to rezone
the hereinafter described property,from R-4, Multi-Family Residential to C-1, General
Commercial and after notice having been published for the time and in the manner as
provided by Ordinance 1988,as amended,the matter was heard by the City Planning
Commission on April 28,2016, and the Planning Commission recommended the
application be approved and the City Council finds that such application should be
granted;

West Memphis,Arkansas
Legal Description: Lot 4-A, South Avalon Subdivision
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property located in the City of West
Memphis,Crittenden County,Arkansas,to wit:
Common Address: approximately 420 South Avalon
West Memphis,Arkansas
Legal Description: Lot 4-A, South Avalon Subdivision
Be and the same is hereby rezoned C-i, General Commercial.
SECTION II. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed. n
