AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE LOTS 39 and 40 AND THE NORTH 100 FEET
OF LOT 41 OF HULBERT HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the Planning Commission
for rezoning lands as provided by Ordinance No.'73~of the city
of West Memphis, Arkansas; and „~~ ~j
WHEREAS, notice was duly published that a hearing would
be held by the Planning Commission and calling upon interested
persons to appear at such hearing and make known their objec-
tions, if any, in connection with said petition for rezoning
of the property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, at the meeting held by the Planning Commission
on September 24, 1980, no persons appeared to offer a protest
against the rezoning of said property and the Planning Com-
mission recommends to the City Council that said petition be
granted: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property located
in the city of West Memphis, Arkansas, to wit:
Lots 39 and 40 and north 100 feet of Lot 41 of Hulbert
Heights Subdivision in the city of West r4emphis,
Arkansa s,
be, and the same is hereby, rezoned as B-2, General Business
District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby revealed.
