AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2408 REGARDING THE
COST OF RE-CHASSISING OF THE EXISTING JET A REFUELER FOR
THE WEST MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2408 approved the waiving of competitive bids for the re-
chassising of the existing Jet A refueler for the West Memphis Municipal Airport in an amount
of$71,967.00; and
WHEREAS, in the course of performing this work American Refueler Equipment Co.,
Inc., has found that additional work is necessary at additional expense and the West Memphis
Municipal Airport Commission has approved the additional work and has recommended
approval of the additional expense; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Ordinance 2408 should be amended to approve
the waiving of competitive bidding for the Jet A refueler in the amount of$89,798.55;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 2408 is hereby amended to read as follows:
That competitive bidding be waived for the following item to be used by the City,
described as follows:
Re-chassising the existing Jet A refueler by American Refueler Equipment Co.,
Inc., at a cost of$89,798.55.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
