AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 5, OF
ORDINANCE N0. 796, ADOPTION BY REFERENCE
OF THE "SOUTHERN STANDARD HOUSINtG CODE,
~"~ 1973 EDITION" FOR THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS.
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 796 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"Section 5. Emergency Clause. It being found and determined
by the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas that
there is an immediate need for adopting a Code, namely, the
"Southern Standard Housing Code, 1973 Edition", for the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
