A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND ADOPT A TEMPORARY BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of West Memphis resolves to adopt a temporary budget for the
City of West Memphis; and
WHEREAS, this resolution is for the purpose of allowing the City of West Memphis to
operate under the 2016 budget adopted on January 21, 2016, as amended, until a budget can be
reviewed and adopted by the City Council for the year of 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Memphis hereby resolves to operate
under the 2016 budget, adopted on January 21, 2016, as amended, until a budget can be reviewed
and adopted for the year of 2017.
