RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2016 BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,A.C.A. § 14-58-203 allows the municipal governing body to alter or revise,from time
to time,the amount to an appropriation of funds which are lawfully applicable to the items therein
contained.
WHEREAS,the Budget Committee of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, has met and has
recommended that the 2016 Budget for the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, be amended for the
purpose of correcting the changes that already been approved by the City Council of the City of West
Memphis,Arkansas.
WHEREAS,the cost of the net change in these allocations is$ 2,621,700.00.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas,finds that the
recommended change on the 2016 budget allocations in Schedule A is appropriate and should be
approved;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS,approves the allocated changes of the 2016 Budget for the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas,as set out in the attached exhibit, Exhibit A,and this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approved.
