AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 751
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,
WHICH ADOPTED THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL C10DE,
1971 EDITION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 751 of the City of
West Memphis, Arkansas is hereby amended as follows:
The words, "National Electrical Code, 1971 Edition",
in Section 1 shall be changed to read, "National

Electrical Code, 1975 Edition".
Section 2. Section 3, Ordi~.ance No. 751 is hereby amended
as follows:
"It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector
to see that this code is enforced".
Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause
or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be
unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such unconstitutionality
or invalidity shall not af'f'ect the remainder of this ordinance;
and, all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed. _
