ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND IN THE NE4 OF
SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST, TO BE KNOWN
AS HOLIDAY GARDENS SUBDIVISION EXTENSION, SECTION 3
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission
to rezone the hereinafter described property and after notice having been
published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No.
715 the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission and no persons
appearing to protest the same the Planning Commission recommended
that said application be granted: NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS;
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
That part of the NE4 of Section 7, Township 6 North, Range
9 East, described as follows; Commencing at the 1/4 corners
of Sections 7 and 8, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, Crittenden
County, Arkansas, thence west along the centerline of Barton
Street 273 feet, thence n~ th 315 feet, thence 780. 24 feet along
a curve to the right with a radius of 2774. 48 feet to the point of
beginning, point being the northeast corner of Weaver School
property, thence continued along said curve to the right with a
radius of 2774. 48 feet a distance of 850. 37 feet, point being the
northwest corner of Lot 16, Block 18, Holiday Gardens Subdivision,
thence north 70 degrees 47 minutes west to the intersection of the
east line of Section 7, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, thence
north along the east line of Section 7, Township 6 North, Range
9 East, to the northeast corner of Section 7, thence west along the
north line of Section 7, Township 6 North, Range 9 East, to the
intersection of McAuley Drive West, thence South 14 degrees 33
minutes west along the centerline of McAuley Drive West 1292.36
feet, thence easterly along a curve to the right with a radius of 840
feet to the centerline of Goodwin Avenue, thence north 46 degrees
45 minutes 38 seconds east 629. 68 feet, thence along a curve to the
right with a radius of 900 feet a distance of 45. 16 feet, thence south
26 degrees 42 minutes 39 seconds east 476.56 feet, thence south
84 degrees 04 minutes 28 seconds east 404, 17 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 50 acres, more or less, being also known
as Holiday Gardens Subdivision Extension, Section 3,
be and the same is hereby rezoned RS 7. 5, Single Family Residence District,
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby rep/ealed.
