AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM RS, 6 SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO R1vIH MOBILE HOME RESIDENCE
LOTS 34, 35, 36 AND 37 IN BLOCK 58 AND LOTS 14, 15, 16,
17, 18 AND 19 IN BLOCK 59 OF SHOWERS SUBDIVISION IN
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AS SHOWN BY
~ PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 1 AT PAGES 10 AND 11;
~..~ AND LOTS 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 AND 20 AND
THAT PART OF LOT 16 LYING SOUTH OF THE NORTH LIlVE
OF LOT 2 EXTENDED EAST AND ALL THAT PART OF LOT 8
LYING NORTH OF THE PAVEMENT IN THE EXTENSION OF
FRONT STREET, ALL IN BLOCK 61 OF SHOWERS SUBDIVISION
IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AS SHOWN BY
PLAT OF RECORD IN PLAT BOOK 1 AT PAGE 59, TOGETHER
WITH ANY ADDITIONS ACCRUING TO LOTS 17, 18, 19 AND 20
IN BLOCK 61 BY REASON OF THE CLOSING OF THE ABUTTING
STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SAID LOTS, AND DECLARIlVG
AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Lots 34, 35, 36 and 37 in Block 58 and Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18
and 19 in Block 59 of Showers Subdivision in the city of West Memphis,
Arkansas, as sha~v n by plat of record in Plat Book 1 at pages 10
and 11; and
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20 and that part of
Lot 16 lying south of the north line of Lot 2 extended east and all
that part of Lot 8 lying north of the pavement in the extension of
Front Street, all in Block 61 of Showers Subdivision in the city of
West Memphis, Arkansas, as shown by plat of record in Plat Book
1 at page 5 9,
together with any additions accruing to Lots 17, 18, 19 and 20 in
Block 61 by reason of the closing of the abutting street on the north
side of said lots,
be and the same is hereby rezoned RMH Mobile Hame Residence.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is found and declared by the
City Council of the City of West Memphis that this property is in the process
of being developed and this ordinance is necessary for the growth. and expansion

of the City of West Memphis; therefore, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
