AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM RS - 6,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO RMH MOBILE
HOME RESIDENCE DISTRICT, AND DECLARING ~T EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission
to rezone the hereinafter described property and after notice having been pub-
lished for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 715 the
matter was heard by the City Planning Commission and no persons appearing
to protest the same the Planning Commission recommended that said application
be granted: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAIlVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS :
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Lots 9 and 10 in Block 5 of the George T. Kendal Fifth
Addition to the city of West Memphis, Arkansas, being
~,,., also known as 611 and 613 South 24th Street, West Memphis,
Arkansas,
be and the same is hereby rezoned RMH, Mobile Home Residence District.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is hereby found and determined
by the City Council of the City of WestMemphis that this ordinance is necessary
for the preservation of the public peace, health and welfare of the City of West
Memphis and the growth and expansion of the City of West Memphis; therefore,
an emergency is hereby declaredto exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
