AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE LOTS 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39,
40, 41, AND THE Nz OF ABANDONED FOURTH STREET
ADJOINING. LOTS 34 AND 35, HULBERT HEIGHTS SUB-
DIVISION IN THE CIT Y OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,
BEING KNOWN AS 900 SOUTH AVALON STREET, WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, application was made to the City Planning Commission
to rezone the hereinafter described property, and after notice having been
published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance No. 715,
the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission, and no persons
appearing to protest the same, the Planning Commission recommended that
said application be granted; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property, to wit:
Lots 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 and the south 50 feet of Lot 41
of Hulbert Heights Subdivision in the city of West
Memphis, Arkansas, and the Nz of abandoned Fourth
Street adjoining said Lots 34 and 35, and being known
as 900 South Avalon Street, West Memphis, Arkansas,
be, and the same is hereby, rezoned B-2 Genera:i Business District.
SECTION II: That the following described property, to wit:
Lots 39 and 40 and the north 100 feet of Lot 41 of
Hulbert Heights Subdivision in the city of West
Memphis, Arkansas, being known as 900 South
Avalon Street, West Memphis, Arkansas,
be, and the same is hereby, rezoned B-1 Limited Business District.
SECTION III: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
