AN ORDINANCE IMPEMENTING A $25.00 WARRANT FEE FOR ALL
WARRANTS SERVED BY ORDER OF THE WEST MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL
COURT TO THE WEST MEMPHIS POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDEAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS
THAT:
SECTION 1: There is hereby implemented a $ 25.00 warrant fee, as authorized
in Act 726 of 1989, for each and every warrant served by the West Memphis Police
Department at the direction of the West Memphis Municipal Court. This fee is in
addition to all other fees that are implemented by the West Memphis Municipal Court.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : If any pat or parts of this ordinance are declared void or
unconstitutional for any reason, it shall not affect the remaining parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 4: This ordinance is necessary in order to facilitate and pay for the
costs of processing cases in the West Memphis Municipal Court. Therefore, this
ordinance is in full force and effect within 30 days upon its passage and approval.
