AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 793,
INCREASING THE FARE OF TAXI-CABS IN THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section One (1) of Ordinance No. 793, dated
February 7, 1974, is amended as follows:
''Section 1. There is hereby established a uniform schedule
for taxicab rates in the City of West D4emphis, Arkansas, which shall
be as follows:
PASSENGERS:
lst Mile $ •~5
Each Additional One-Quarter (1/4) Mile $ .15
Each Additional Passenger $ .25
School Children - Each Additional Child $ .10
(TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SCHOOL)
Waiting Time --- PER MINUTE $ .10
Waiting Time --- PER HOUR $6.00
PACKAGE DELIVERY:
Minimum $1.00
First Mile $ .70 - PLUS $.1.5
EACH TIME DRIVER LEAVES
THE CAB
Section 2. The remaining Sections of Ordinance No. 793
dated February 7, 1974, are hereby reaffirmed and left unamended.
