Wf~REAS, a Petition was filed with the Planning Cat~nission of West Memphis,
Arkansas to rezone and redesignate certain Property hereinafter described: and
~.A.S, notice was duly published that hearing would be held by the Planning
Cocimission on the 29th day of November, 1978, at 3:30 p.m. for the purpose of
hearing any interested parties in connection with the rezoning and redesignating
of said lands; and
WFIEREAS, at said meeting on November 29, 1978, said petition was considered
by the Planning Coimti-ssion and rio persons appearing to Protest the same, the Planning
Ooacmission reoomnerided to the City Council that said petition be granted; now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST ME~HIS, ARKA'~TSAS:
SECTION I: That the following described property located in West _ .

Arkansas and being designated as 1010 North Missouri, West
Memphis, Arkansas be

` SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are

SECTION III: II~~RC,SrICy CLP,USE: It is hereby found and declared by the City Council
of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas that the property above described is in the
process of developr,-ent, and this ordinance is necessary for the growth and expansion
of the City of West Memphis; and that the passage of this ordin~-~noe is in the
interest of the public health, peace, safety and welfare of the City of West Memphis
and the inhabitants thereof. Therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist
and this ordinances shall take effect and be in force immediately on its passage and
approval .
