AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION FIFTEEN (15)
OF ORDINANCE N0. 715, THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

SECTION 1. Section Fifteen (15) of Qrdinance No. 715,
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, is
hereby amended to include an additional definition as follows:
"Mini-Warehouse Storage. For purposes of this section
of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
Ordinance No. 715, a retail business is defined as ar,y business
operation in which goods, merchandise, materials, supplies or
other items of trade are actively offered for sale on the
premises to the public at large. Furthermore, a wholesale
business operation for purposes of this section is defined as
a business in which the lessee is operating as a salesman,
middleman, or other merchant, or cor~~mercial user, mainly for
resale or business use of items, and in which he is actively
utilizing the mini-warehouse facility 'as the place of operation
in which his customers actually deposit or withdraw materials,
supplies, goods or other merchandise. As long as the lessee of
the mini-warehouse facility is the only operator who is actively
involved in depositing or withdrawing materials, foods and/or
supplies from the mini-warehouse, the business shall not be
classified as wholesale, and; therefore, is not prohibited
under the provisions of this ordinance as they perta:In to
mini-warehouses."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.~f ~~ ,nt f ~
