AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 519 AND
ORDINANCE 551 OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Ordinances No. 519 and 551 of the City of West
Memphis are hereby amended throughout the entirety of said Ordinances
by deleting the words "Park Commission" wherever found in said Ordinances
and substituting therein in place of said deletions, the words "Department of
Parks and Recreation".
Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed or amended as herein set forth and all other provisions
contained in Ordinances No. 519 and 551, unless repealed or amended, shall
remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. It is found and determined by the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that this Ordinance is immediately
necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the City
of West Memphis, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
