ORDINANCE NUMBER
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 730 OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI`T'Y OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
wrr. Section 1. Ordinance Number 730 of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, fixing the RATE FOR SANITARY SEWER SERVICE is hereby
amended to read as follows;
RATE FOR SANIT.A.RY SETvJER SERVIC
The net monthly rate (after lOf discount) for
Sanitary Sewer Service shall be as follows:
PER MON'T'H
132 of the average net monthly bill (after
10/ discount) for metered water service for
an eight (8) months period, September thru
April. `I'he rate for sanitary sewer service
shall be based on the average eight (8)
months water bill, September thru April
multiplied by 132/.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repea]_ed.
Section 3. It being found and determined by the West Memphis
City Council that some modification in the rate for sewer service
is necessary, that this ordinance is immediately necessary for
the health, safety, and well being of the citizens of West Memphis,
Arkansas, therefore, an emergency is declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and. after its
passage and. approval.
