AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 715 DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 12:t}.1 of Ordinance No. 715 is hereby
repealed and the following is substituted therefor:
Section 12 :L}.1. Appointment. There is her eby
created a Board of Zoning Adjustment consisting of ten (10)
members; each to be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by
the City Council for a term of one (1) year. The Mayor shall
serve as ex-officio Chairman of the Board.
Section 2. Emergency Clause. It being found and deter-
mined by the City Council of West Memphis, Arkansas that the
number of members of the Board of Zoning Ad3ustment should be
increased, an emergency is hereby de~~ared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
