2451 ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 815 WHICH CREATED AN
AUDITORIUM COMMISSION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.'-909
WHICH ENLARGED.THE AUDITORIUM COMMISSION, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 815 was passed September 19, 1974, creating an
Auditorium Commission for the purpose of operating and managing the Municipal Auditorium
of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 909 was passed July 21, 1977, amending Ordinance No.
815, enlarging the auditorium commission; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Arkansas Statute § 14-141-103(b), the city may repeal
the ordinance creating the commission by an affirmative vote of three-fourths (3/4) of the duly
elected and qualified members of the city council;
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 815, Ordinance 909 and all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
