ORDINANCE NO. 2-I-
AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH COMPENSATION FOR*ALDERMAN FOR
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS
WHEREAS, the city Alderman of the city,of west Memphis have not received
an increase in compensation since the year of 1985.

J� WHEREAS, it having been ordained by the city alderman of the city of West
Memphis, Arkansas that due to inflation and the cost index, that an increase in
compensation is warranted after 22 years without a compensation increase of any
kind; and
WHEREAS all ordinances and resolutions and parts of ordinances and .
resolutions in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed including ordinance
#1208 of 1985;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. the city alderman, of the city of West Memphis Shall receive
X88:W annually.
