2160RESOLUTION NO. 2 16 D
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE DESIRE OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO
RECITE THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AS PART OF THE AGENDA FOR
REGULARLY SCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to establish the procedures for setting the ii
agenda for its meetings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to modify the existing procedure to allow the
agenda to include the recital of the Pledge of Allegiance; and
WHEREAS, the Pledge of Allegiance was previously included in the agenda, but was
removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF
WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Pledge of Allegiance is to be included on the agenda for any regularly
scheduled meeting of the West Memphis City Council, until the agenda is changed by future
decision of the City Council and Mayor.
