1979ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ ~ AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT IN A C-2, OPEN DISPLAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, TO ALLOW FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MULTI- FAMILY STRUCTURES, AT 1750 E. BROADWAY, WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Planning Commission to allow a Special Use Permit to allow the construction of multi-family structures in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District, as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended. WHEREAS, after notice has been published for the time and in the manner as provided by Ordinance 1258, as amended, the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission, on November 29, 2000 and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special Use Permit be granted to DRED, to allow the construction ofmulti-family structures in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District in accordance with the approved site plan, and the following supplemental conditions: Approved and recorded subdivision plat; 2. Installation of all grading and drainage improvements as required by the Department of Public Works; Design Review Commission Approval; 4. Landscaping shall be installed in accordance with the approved Site Plan or an equivalent alternative subject to the approval of the Design Review Commission or the Department of Planning and Development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit: 1'750 E. Broadway Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, V. L. Hill Subdivision be, and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit, to allow the construction ofmulti-family structures in a C-2, Open Display Commercial District in accordance with the approved site plan, and the following supplemental conditions: 1. Approved and recorded subdivision plat; 2. Installation of grading and drainage improvements as required by the Department of Public Works; 3. Design Review Commission Approval; 4. Landscaping shall be installed in accordance with the approved Site Plan or an equivalent alternative subject to the approval of the Design Review Commission or the Department of Planning and Development.
