AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTION 5.24.030 OF THE WEST
MEMPHIS MUNICIPAL CODE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the West Memphis City Council finds that Section 5.24.030 of the West
Memphis Municipal Code should be repealed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MElt'[PH1S, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 5.24.030 of the West Memphis Municipal Code is hereby repealed.

Section 5.24.030 Massage to person of opposite sex.
A. It is unlawful for any person to administer. for hire or re~~~ard, to any person of the opposite sex,
any massage. any alcohol nib or similar treatment. any fomentation, any bath, or any electric or
magnetic treatment; nor shall any person cause or pernlit in or about his place of business, or in
cormection with his business. any agent. employee or servant or any other person under his control
or supervision, to adnu~iister anv such treat-meat to any person of the opposite sex.
B. This sectio^ shall not clpply to any treatment administered in good faith by any physician licensed
to practice in the state or by a person under the supervision of a physician. (Ord. 413 § 3, 1961.)
