AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO CLYDE BLAYLOCK,
FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1024 MISSOURI STREET, ALLOWING A
PLANT NURSERY WITH OUTSIDE SALES AND DISPLAY IN A C-I, GENERAL
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the City Planning Commission for a
Special Use Permit allowing a plant nursery with outside sales and display in a C-1, General
Commercial District, as required by Ordinance 1258, as amended.
WHEREAS, after notice had been published for the time and in the manner as provided
by Ordinance No. 1258, as amended the matter was heard by the City Planning Commission on
January 31, 2001 and the Planning Commission recommended that a Special Use Permit be
granted to allow a plant nursery with outside sales and display in a C-1, General Commercial
District, with the following criteria:
1. Set up as presented on approved site plan;
2. Meet all City codes and regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNSEL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the following described property, to wit:
1024 Missouri Street
All of Lots 12, 13, 14 in Block 14 of the Subdivision of the East half of Blocks 1,
7, and 14 of the Worthington Park Addition to the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas
and the same hereby is granted a Special Use Permit allowing a plant nursery with outside sales
and display in a C-1, General Commercial District, with the following criteria:
1. Set up as presented on approved site plan;
2. Meet all City codes and regulations.
SECTION II: That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
