ORDINANCE NO. CP 0 ~~
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 346 OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARIA NSAS;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 346 of the City of West Memphis
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 3. Out of said membership there shall be appointed
by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council a Board of
Governors which shall consist of twenty (20) members. "
Section 2. All parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith and particularly
Section 3 of Ordinance No. 346 are hereby repealed.
Section 3. It is found and determined by the City Council of the City
of West Memphis, Arkansas, that this Ordinance is immediately necessary
for the health and welfare of the inhabitants of the City of West Memphis, and
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from. and after its passage and approval.
