AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 580 OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council o.f the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas;
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance 580 of the City of West Memphis
is hereby amended o.n page 8 of said Ordi.na.nce, by inserting the words "auto-
mobile race track", .followi.ng the words "race tracks" a.nd by .further desg-
cp
nati.ng a privilege license fee in the amount of $ ~ Q ~ ~ ico adjacent to the
words "automobile race tracks".
SECTION 2. Said ame.ndme.nt a.nd addition to Ordinance No. 580
of the City of West Memphis shall hereby become an integral part of said O•rdi-
na.nce No. 580, as above mentioned.
SECTION 3. It is found a.nd determined by the City Council of the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that this Ordinance is immediately .necessary
for the health, safety a.nd welfare of the inhabitants of the City of West Memphis
a.nd a.n emerge.ncy is hereby declared to exist a.nd this ordinance shall be i.n
.full force and effect from and after its passage a.nd approval.
