AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
~.~. M. L. THOMPSON SUBDIVISION AND KENDAL SUBDIVISION
IN THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the
Planning Commission of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, as
provided by Ordinance No. 411 of the City of West Memphis,
Arkansas, for rezoning of certain property in M. L. Thompson
Subdivision and Kendal Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, notice was duly published on the 15th day
of April, 1966, that a hearing would be held by the Planning
Commission at 5:00 P. M., which meeting was adjourned until the
12th da of Ma 1966, because of a lack of a quorum; and

WHEREAS, at said meeting and by the application
previously made to the Planning Commission, it was requested
that the following property, to-wit:

the rezoning of said property as requested; and

said rezoning be granted;

OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS:

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. A copy of the ordinance, when duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be subject to being filed and recorded
in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder
within and for Crittenden County, Arkansas.
Section 4. EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is found and declared
by the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, that

this ordinance is necessary for the growth and expansion of
• the City of West Memphis and therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in force from
and after its passage and approval.
