2190 RESOLUTION NO. 2 / ✓I
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE ISSUANCE OF
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT REVENUE REFUNDING BONDS
BY THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS;
WHEREAS,the City of West Memphis,Arkansas (the "City")owns and operates,through its
Airport Commission (the "Commission"),a municipal airport; and
WHEREAS,the City has previously issued its Municipal Airport Revenue Refunding and
Improvement Bonds, Series 2013 (the "2013 Bonds"); and
WHEREAS,the Commission has determined that the 2013 Bonds should be refunded (the
"Refunding"); and
WHEREAS,the City can accomplish the Refunding by its issuance of its Municipal Airport
Revenue Refunding Bonds,Series 2019 (the"2019 Bonds"); and
WHEREAS,the Commission has approved this recommendation to the City Council that the City
issue the 2019 Bonds to accomplish the Refunding;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,the West Memphis City Council approves the issuance of
the 2019 Bonds by the City for the purpose of accomplishing the Refunding.
Section 1. Stephens, Inc. and Friday, Eldredge and Clark, LLP are recommended as underwriter
and bond counsel, respectively, in connection with the sale of the 2019 Bonds.
