ORDINANCE NO.~ 332 AN ORDINANCE TO ZONE A PORTION OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER AND A PORTION OF THE WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST HALF OF SECTION THIRTEEN, TOWNSHIP SIX NORTH, RANGE EIGHT EAST IN CRITTENDEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS, SAME BEING A PART OF THE CITY OF WEST M~:i~HIS. Whereas, Notice was duly published on the 17th day of January, 1957 that a hearing before the City Council of the City of West Memphis could be held at 3 P.M., Thursday, February 7, 1957 for the purpose of hearing all interested parties in connection with the zoning of said lands hereinafter described; Whereas, at said meeting it was requested .that said lands be coned as follows: Being all that part of the east half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1,3, To:+mship b. North, Range 8 east, lying north and west of the north right~f--way of the property of the Chicago, Rook Island and Pacific Rai1~- road Company (Less 50 foot strip north of and adjacent to said Railroad Company property for which an easement has been granted to Crittenden County, Arkansas for the right-of-way of Front Avenue) and a strip of land 1?A fast wide off of the east side of the west half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 13, which lies imme- diately west and contiguous to said east half of the Southeast Quarter of said Section, Township and Range and more particularly described as followss- Beginning at the Quarter Section Corner of Section 13, Township 6 North, Range 8 East and Section 18, Town- ship 6 North, Range 9 East; and running thence westwardly along the east-west center line of Section 13 a distance oP 1429,75 Feet; thence southwardly parallel with the north-south center line of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13 and 120 feet westwardly therefrom 2350.4 feet to an east-west fence; thec:ce eastwardly along said fence 7.4 feet to a fence corner; thence southward],y sl®ng old fence line 234 feet to a point in the north line of Front Avenue (50 feet wide); thence northeastwardly along the north line of Front avenue 1457.7 feet to an intersection with the east line of Section 13; thence northwardly along said Section line 225$.2 feet to the beginning. Containing 79.52 acres,. as "G" Heavy Industrial, and, ,, Whereas, no persons appeared to protest against zoning of said lands, the Council finds that said lands should be zoned as requested, Now Therefo BE IT ORDAIN~;D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST ME~'HIS: SECTION 1. ORDINANCES IN CCY+tFLICT HFITH REPEALED: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
