A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REVISION TO THE 2018 BUDGET
WHEREAS,A.C.A. § 14-58-203 states the governing body may alter or revise the budget and
unpledged funds appropriated by the governing body for any purpose may be subsequently, by action of
the governing body, appropriated to another purpose.
WHEREAS,the Budget Committee deems it necessary to request a change in the approved
budget for 2018.
WHEREAS,the total amount of the changes is$ 2,890,000.00 plus applicable sales tax
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis,Arkansas, finds that the request for
changes in the approved budget for 2018 has met all the requirements as stated in this statue and it is
appropriate that the requested changes should be approved;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,
ARKANSAS, approves the$ 2,890,000.00 changes, plus applicable sales tax, in the 2018 Budget,and this
resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approved. See
Exhibit A attachment.
