AN ORDINANCE TO ZONE HOLIDAY GARDENS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, CRTTTENTEN COUNTY, ARKANSAS, LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE
W~ W2 OF SECTION 8 AND THE EAST 273 FEET OF THE E2 E2 OF SECTION 7,
ALL IN TOWNSHIP b NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST, LYING NORTH OF TEN-MILE BAYOU
AND SOUTH QF HIGHi~AY 61 RIGHT OF WAY, CONTAINING 1~+7 . ~+6 ACRES, IN
CRITTENIE:N COUNTY, ARKANSAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS:
SECTION I: "A" SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT: That the following
described land, to-wit:
Blocks Oae to Fourteen (1-14) both inclusive, Holiday
Gardens Subdivision in the City of West Memphis,
be, and the same is, hereby zoned as "A" Single-family Residence District.
SECTION II: "C" MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT: That the following
described land, to-wit:
Blocks Fifteen (15 ), Sixteen (16) and Seventeen (17) and
Lots One to Sixteen (1-16) both inclusive in Block Eighteen
(18), Holiday Gardens Subdivision in the City of West
Memphis,
be, and the same is, hereby zoned as "C" Multiple-family Residence District.
SECTION III: "D" COMMERCIAL DT3TRICT: That the following described
land, to-wit:
All of Block Eighteen (18) except Lots One to Sixteen
(1-16) both inclusive, Holiday Gardens Subdivision in
the City of West Memphis,
be, and the same is, hereby zoned as "D" Commercial District.
SECTION IV: COPY OF ORDINANCE FILED FOR RECORD: A copy of this
ordinance, when duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be subject to being
filed for record in the Office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder
within and for Crittenden County, Arkansas.
SECTION V: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: It is hereby ascertained and declared
to be a fact that said land is in the process of development; that the pas-
sage of this ordinance is in the interest of the public peace, health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the city of West Memphis; therefore,

an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
