RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND FINANCING
OF TWO (2) TRUCKS FOR THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS.
WHEREAS, Marco McClendon, the Mayor for the City of West Memphis, submitted a
request to purchase a front end loader for $160,400, plus applicable sales tax, and a grapple
truck for $ 132,000, plus applicable sales tax, for the Sanitation Department of the City of
West Memphis.
WHEREAS, Marco McClendon, the Mayor for the City of West Memphis also request
the City Council of the City of West Memphis gives Mayor McClendon permission to sign an
agreement with Fidelity National Bank to finance these vehicles for 5 years.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, finds the purchase
and financing of these trucks is recommended and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, approves the purchase and financing of these two (2) trucks for the
City of West Memphis, Arkansas, and this resolution shall be in full force and effect beginning
August 15th, 2019

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS, APPROVES
RESOLUTION NO. 22079 AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURCHASE
AND FINANCING OF THESE TWO (2) TRUCKS FOR THE CITY
OF WEST MEMPHIS, ARKANSAS.
