A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2020 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF WEST
MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Marco M. McClendon, the Mayor for the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,
submitted a proposed budget for the year 2020, with allocations for a police incentive program to
be funded at a later date, to the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas,prior to
December 1, 2019, according to A.C.A. §14-58-201: and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, finds that the
recommended 2020 budget for the purpose of funding the allocations that was distributed to the
City Council prior to December 1, 2019, is appropriate and should be approved:
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS,ARKANSAS, THAT the 2020 budget for the City of West
Memphis, with allocations for a police incentive program to be funded at a later date, as
submitted by the Mayor and recommended by the Budget Committee, is hereby approved and
adopted as the budget for the operation of the City of West Memphis, Arkansas, for the year
